been a couple of weeks - what to report ... had a big french cruise ship arrive for the day off the yirrkala boat ramp - we hoped to sell them lots of art and practise our french ( mine is tres bien)  but alas they were a little french to be honest and not all we had hoped for

On the friday night East Journey had their debut album launch at the yirrkala oval which was a big affair with all sorts of pomp and ceremony .. it was fun and the kids danced

Kade went to Yilapara with a team of americans to film ' world's dirtiest jobs '  ... !  !  !   the crew filmed the yolngu hunting and collecting wood, cutting barks and their general day to day living ... i think it was good,  could be bad but we will wait and see. In anycase the fame has totally gone to Kade's head

we went for a quick boat trip

and tomorrow we are off to cairns and port douglas for a much needed holiday - pool side cocktail drinking bogan style holiday - wopp woop!
